Before that I was the first ops hire at Pearl, a dental AI company, and spent five years there as it grew from zero to about 200 people and mid-eight-figure ARR. AI executes entirely on my behalf, and my team spends 100% of their time on QA.” [Show Me Your Stack, by Supered, July 2026](https://revductive.com/media#show-me-your-stack) ## What I’ll actually talk about Ten ideas I can talk about for an hour. Use a title as it is or change it to fit your show. 1. #### Your first RevOps hire is usually the wrong hire Most founders hire ops to clean up a CRM they built for themselves. I’ll go through what to fix before you post the job. 2. #### The first thing that broke at Pearl It was the handoff from sales to implementation, and we saw it as churn about six months later. 3. #### How to know founder-led sales is done Deals stall and nobody notices, and your reps can’t tell which accounts to call. I’ll cover what to hand off first. 4. #### AI in sales: the three things that actually stuck Call notes going into the CRM, research before the call, and follow-up drafts that sound like the rep. Those are the ones I see teams keep using. 5. #### Fractional without the agency trap I own every client account myself and a team of specialists works behind me. I’ll explain why there’s no account manager in between. 6. #### Selling AI to people who don’t want it Pearl sold AI to offices that didn’t want new software. What worked was showing it inside the tools they already used. 7. #### I let an AI agent run my cold email for a month The agent does the research and I check what it writes. I’ll share the reply rates and the rules it isn’t allowed to break. 8. #### How I run a small company with AI agents Agents run my outbound, my morning brief, my follow-ups and my invoicing. I’ll talk about what I won’t automate and where they’ve gotten things wrong. 9. #### Five CRM decisions before your first sales hire When a rep inherits the founder’s CRM, they end up tracking deals in a spreadsheet. Five setup decisions fix that, and none of them are about fields. 10. #### What a RevOps audit finds at a 30-person company Pipeline numbers nobody trusts, more than one version of the sales process, and tools nobody connected. Some of it takes a week to fix and some takes a quarter. If none of these fit your show, send me the topic you have in mind and I’ll work from that. ## Past episodes HabitStack Podcast September 2026 ### AI won’t fix your mess. It’ll multiply it. Hosted by Scott Ward Scott Ward gets Kevin into where AI actually lands in a go-to-market system: why almost every AI engagement turns out to need RevOps work first, why call transcripts are the richest data a company already has and doesn’t use, and the case against automating a whole role instead of the small repetitive pieces of one. Plus the second brain in Notion, why BI dashboards are on the way out, and the two scheduled Claude runs that bookend his day. ![AI won’t fix your mess.
